Initial Contact
A conversation over the phone will allow us to better understand your situation and project, and for us to answer any questions you may have about designing or building your new home.

Consultation
This is an opportunity to meet with Jason, the owner of Burgess Homes, in person for an hour long consultation. We will discuss your design requirements, details, wish list items and your target budget.

Concept Agreement
Our Concept Agreement includes preparation of preliminary architectural drawings (if not already complete), and a detailed list of building specifications will be developed. This is where we will begin to refine your vision to ensure it meets your goals and budget.

Preliminary Building Agreement
The Preliminary Building Agreement will include finalizing your architectural and structural drawings with an engineers approval and stamp. We will finalize the detailed list of specification, the construction schedule and agreements with all our suppliers and subcontractors to be able to provide you with a fixed price building contract, not just an estimate.

Fixed Price Building Contract
We take all of the specifications, details and plans derived from the previous steps and put them into a fixed price contract to build your new home. And fixed price means NO surprises during construction. The contract includes a fixed payment schedule based on project milestones.

Construction
Construction begins! Throughout the construction of your home we will hold regular meetings (typically bi-weekly) with your project manager and any necessary trade partners to ensure we are creating the home you envisioned

Handover
After a final walkthrough, a thorough cleaning, and all final inspections, your new home is move in ready!

Ongoing Support
Once moved in and settled, questions can still come up. We are only a phone call away to help in anyway. We have a 2 year warranty on all labor, plus material and equipment warranties that can surpass 50 years.
